Licensing and Pricing

Gears is licensed on a per-user basis. Typical deployments include licenses for all application developers, architectures, test developers, build engineers, configuration managers, and project managers.

Gears licenses are permanent and include the first year of customer support and upgrades. All upgrades (minor and major) plus customer support remain available after the first year by renewing the annual Gears maintenance and support package for your licenses.

Gears licenses are priced on a tiered discount schedule, based on the total cumulative number of licenses purchased over time. Tiered discounts occur after 10, 25, 50, 100, 250, and 500 cumulative license purchases.

For less than the cost of many configuration management tool licenses, Gears offers the potential for factor of 2x to 10x productivity, quality, and time-to-market improvements in creating, evolving and maintaining your software product lines.
